Statement “Our Mission is to endeavour to meet the needs of the brain-injured, their caregivers and family members in Central Alberta by providing ongoing emotional and social support as well as information and education regarding brain injury and the rehabilitation process needed by survivors to enable them to re-enter the community as contributing members.
We believe that all persons with brain injury have the right to have their physical, mental, spiritual, emotional and financial needs met with dignity and respect. We also believe that family members, who are often the primary caregivers of people with brain injury, deserve the community’s support, especially in regard to access to education about brain injury and its effects, and in access to therapies, training, secure housing, social contacts and other supports for the people under their care.
